Aloha, my name is Coach Cam. I was born and raised in Southern California. I played competitive baseball for 15 years. I attended Murrieta Mesa High School and played college baseball at the Division 3 level at Linfield University. I have had many important mentors and coaches in my life, but my most impactful was Coach Mike Diaz (who played 15 years in professional baseball in the major leagues and Japan). Drew Belew
Baseball Coach
Coach Drew is a Seabury Hall grad who played at Pensacola State College and Skyline College. After college, he played for the Sioux Falls Sunfish.
The players appreciate Coach Drew for making baseball fun while still making them work hard.
Coach Drew was trained by Coach Mike and credits him for “being the best thing that happened” to him in his years of baseball and for getting him into the college of his choice. His only regret is not having met him sooner. “If I would have met Mike when I was young who knows where I could have gone. What he and Shannon are doing with Hitters Paradise is something I dreamed of growing up as a kid in Hawaii but never had the chance to see until now. There’s no doubt in my mind he will send tons of players to the D1 level and pro. Mike and Shannon are putting Maui on the map one athlete at a time.”
